This is the story of a son of the soil. Since childhood, the scent of the earth was blended into his breath. After completing his degree in agriculture, he accepted a good job, but his heart was not content within those boundaries. His parents' values, an unbreakable bond with nature, and a deep concern for farmers would not let him stay still. With the strong support of his wife, in 2003, he started a small nursery named 'Sarvadnya' on just 10 gunthas (around 0.25 acres) of land.
In the beginning, he faced endless hardships, injustice, and betrayal from many. But he did not lose heart, nor did he ever break a promise he made. Deeply rooted in this young man's mind was the realisation that the income of the farmers who bought his saplings would depend on the quality of those plants. Today, that young man strives for the empowerment of farmers. Yes, you guessed it right—this two-decade-long journey of struggle belongs to Ashok Maganrao Patil!
Today, in every village and in the heart of every farmer across Khandesh, Sarvadnya Nursery has earned a reputation for providing robust saplings grown from genuine, certified seeds of reputed companies, along with humble service.
